What I Do

Talks

My talks are described as inspirational, humorous, honest and informative.

I speak candidly about my experiences of undiagnosed mental illnesses and neurodivergence, how they contributed to my dependence on drink and drugs, and how I reached a point where I almost took my own life.

Above all, I talk about what helped me come out the other side after overcoming addiction and self-harm, and the healthy coping mechanisms we can all adopt.

My talks are about recognising what's going on inside us, understanding ourselves rather than judging ourselves, and learning how to respond when life gets difficult. Above all, it's about recognising that our past doesn't dictate our future.

I share practical, realistic tools for managing all the things life throws at us by building healthier coping mechanisms and recognising when we need help.

Most importantly, it's about self-awareness, self-acceptance and empowerment: understanding that struggling doesn't mean you're broken, and that you can learn to rewrite the story you tell yourself about who you are and where you're going.

Audiences leave with a greater understanding of how to manage what life has thrown at them, what they may be going through now, and how to navigate whatever comes next.

What I Do

Mentoring & Coaching

Completely person-led, my clients describe me as a coach, counsellor, therapist, mentor and adviser. I’m often seen as the only safe person they feel able to open up to.

Above all, I’m practical support for people who need a bit of help finding their way.

One-to-one mentoring and coaching that starts with the person, not a programme. If they need an hour of talking and I send over tools afterwards, that’s what we do. If they respond best to body doubling while trying techniques out, great.

Using a range of therapeutic approaches and proven tools to support wellbeing and neurodivergence, every session is unique and tailored to what that person needs.

I work with individuals to understand what’s getting in the way, make sense of what’s going on and find practical strategies that fit how their brain works and what they’re dealing with.

What I Do

Training

Mental health training that goes beyond just ticking a box.

It’s practical, accessible mental health training for organisations, schools and teams, from the boardroom to the factory floor.

I help people recognise what’s going on, understand themselves and others better, and feel more confident having the conversations that matter.

In doing so, teams feel seen and heard and are better equipped to fulfil their roles.

Understanding warning signs and how to navigate wellbeing, both in ourselves and in others, can literally be the difference between life and death.

I hold your team's hand throughout the process and follow up with toolsheets and techniques people can actually use.

What I Do

Toolkits

Practical tools for when life gets a bit much.

A toolbox full of simple, evidence-based techniques for managing stress, anxiety, overwhelm, emotions, neurodivergence and everything else life throws at us.

Because knowing about mental health is one thing. Having something you can actually do when you’re struggling is another.

I have an ever-growing ecosystem of over 120 tools and techniques drawn from a range of therapeutic approaches, presented in ways that are easy to understand and use in a time of crisis, or learn in preparation for one.

Video instructions to accompany the toolsheets will be available soon.
